Emergency Management Services and Military Service Members, Veterans and their Families
All Service Members are strong, our families are too, but as strong as we all are, mental health issues associated with military life are a reality that even the strongest among us may have to face. Military Service Members, Veterans and their families often face problems such as adjusting to situational stressors; work relationship problems; grief, stress management, and parenting. Counseling with Jason offers specialty services for both Individual and Family mental health issues associated with military life issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, military sexual trauma, and marriage/separation/divorce concerns. If you, a family member, or a friend are experiencing mental health issues associated with military life, please call or contact me for more information.
Treatment Modalities
Stop suffering. Counseling with Jason offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Therapy for adults with Anxiety problems. The symptoms of fear and anxiety are uncomfortable at best and often produce some form of fear, worry, and avoidance behavior; and if left untreated, they continue to build suffering in your life. CBT and Exposure therapy aim to help you face and overcome your fears and anxiety responses.
Behavior Activation and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are offered for adults with Depressive Disorders. Symptoms of depression are most notable when either your mood is down, depressed, or sad for most days and/or you have little interest or pleasure in doing things at all. Behavior Activation coupled with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy will get you moving forward toward being the change you want to see in the world.
Exposure therapy, including Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy, aim to end the intrusive nature of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms that keep you trapped in past experiences and to foster Post Traumatic Growth to help you move forward with your life.
